Mapping, Bury Art Gallery & Museum, 2007
"Mapping is a fundamental part of how we relate to and make sense of our surroundings. The artworks included in this exhibition expand the idea of what can be mapped."
Mapping Artists include: Layla Curtis, Hamish Fulton, Ian Hamilton-Finlay, Langlands & Bell, Richard Long, Cornelia Parker, Simon Patterson.
For this exhibition, I created 6 GPS drawings by walking or driving through areas within specified boundaries, attempting to describe the space by moving through it - 'Brighton Pier', 'Leeds Castle Maze', 'Shoreham Interchange', 'Aldwick Beach', 'Cannizaro Park', 'Rodmell Recreation Ground'.
